Rowena Dwyer, Chief Economist IFA
Rowena is a graduate in Economics from TCD, with an MSc in Public Economics from the University of York. She has worked in both public and private sector organisations in Ireland and overseas in the areas of economics and policy development.
The IFA Economics Section provides a resource in terms of economic and statistical analysis, and is also involved in policy development, co-ordination and presentation. Areas of direct responsibility include: National economic and social policy issues, general aspects of the EU Common Agricultural Policy, international trade/WTO, structural funds and the euro.
Rowena is the IFA liaison officer with Government Departments and other Social Partner organistions in the PPF. She represents IFA on the National Economic and Social Council and on a number of other bodies and working groups.
She is a native of Co. Tipperary.
