MINISTER MUST STAND HIS GROUND TO DELIVER A CAP DEAL THAT WORKS FOR PRODUCTIVE AGRICULTURE - BRYAN
IFA President John Bryan has warned the Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney that Irish farmers are expecting him to stand his ground and face down Commissioner Ciolos in order to deliver a deal on CAP Reform which supports active productive farmers.

FOOT-DRAGGING BY MINISTER COVENEY ON AEOS 3 APPLICATIONS NOT ACCEPTABLE
IFA Rural Development Chairman Flor McCarthy has called on the Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney to stop the foot-dragging on AEOS 3 and to immediately accept as many as possible of the 9,600 farmers who have applied for the scheme in late 2012.

MAY 15TH DEADLINE FOR 2013 SINGLE FARM PAYMENT APPLCIATIONS – IFA
IFA President John Bryan said all farmers need to make sure they have lodged their Single Farm Payment application form with the Department of Agriculture in Portlaoise in good time and well before next Wednesday closing date of May 15th.
