The Foreign Affairs Council will discuss the modernisation of the EU’s trade defence instruments and the new anti-dumping methodology. At their meeting on 20-21 October, EU leaders called for a balanced Council position on trade defence instruments by the end of 2016.
Ministers will discuss the WTO and the post-Nairobi process. They will also take stock of negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
In addition, the EU and Ecuador will sign the Protocol of Accession of Ecuador to the EU-Colombia/Peru Trade Agreement.
