Lamb Supplies Tighter

IFA National Sheep Committee Chairman John Lynskey has said lamb supplies are tighter this week with some plants struggling to get adequate numbers today (Monday).

He said prices are steady at €4.75/kg and some deals of €4.80/kg being paid. He said finishers are also negotiating weight up to 23kgs.

John Lynskey said ewes are making from €2.65 to €2.75/kg.
