IFA Meet Department of Environment on Dog Control

James Murphy National Sheep Chairman and Kevin Kinsella Livestock Director recently met senior officials in the Department of the Environment on dog control, the need for increased awareness on responsible dog ownership and the threat of dogs to sheep flocks.

James Murphy highlighted the work of IFA on this issue with the recent radio advertisement campaign and media coverage.

IFA requested the Department of the Environment to follow up on the IFA work with a media campaign. IFA also put forward proposals on a schools campaign for the Department.
