Farm Business Skillnet is the training division of IFA, providing training and up-skilling to both the IFA volunteer structure and to groups of IFA members.

Hoofcare Course

The Hoofcare Course consists of three full days (two initially and a day three at a later date). Because of the practical nature of the course, involving hands-on trimming, and to ensure that all participants get an opportunity to trim feet. The number attending each course is limited to 12, with a cost of €475 per participant includes provision of lunch and refreshments.

Each participant will receive a pair of quality hoof knives, pair of safety gloves and comprehensive course notes as part of their registration.
