Farm Business Skillnet is the training division of IFA, providing training and up-skilling to both the IFA volunteer structure and to groups of IFA members.

Hoofcare Course

The Hoofcare Course consists of three full days (two initially and a day three at a later date). Because of the practical nature of the course, involving hands-on trimming, and to ensure that all participants get an opportunity to trim feet. The number attending each course is limited to 12, with a cost of €475 per participant includes provision of lunch and refreshments.

Each participant will receive a pair of quality hoof knives, pair of safety gloves and comprehensive course notes as part of their registration.

IFA Countryside is IFA’s country sports membership initiative which was developed almost 20 years ago by IFA to meet the needs of Irish field sport enthusiasts and for those who enjoy countryside pursuits.
