Design for the Bioeconomy – Upcoming Agriforvalor Event

BPS

The AgriForValor project, supported by IFA, aims to close the research and innovation divide by connecting farmers and foresters with industry and academia and build towards a sustainable bioeconomy.

AgriForValor Hub Ireland’s 4th event will take place in Teagasc, Ashtown on April 12th.

This event titled ‘Design for the Bioeconomy’ will take a design thinking approach to biobased ideas and give attendees the opportunity to identify and build on grass-roots ideas for the bioeconomy in Ireland.

They will also work with leading experts on adding value to agricultural biomass, hear from an Entrepreneur who has been there and learn about funding opportunities in the space. Ideas will be presented at the end of the workshop with the opportunity to join business partnership groups that will have the chance to avail of a suite of supports though the AgriForValor project later this year and into 2018.

If you are interested in attending, you can register here, email Cliodhna.dowling@staff.ittralee.ie or call 0667144247.
