IFA Renewables Chairman James Murphy is encouraging all farmers to attend Energy in Agriculture 2017, taking place on August 22nd in Gurteen College, Tipperary.
James Murphy said the free event will equip farmers with new information and ideas about the opportunities and issues that exist in the renewable energy sector.
He said, “Farmers have made significant strides in improving the sustainability of their agricultural practices and can build on this. Bioenergy and farm scale renewable projects offer farmers the chance to diversify their farm businesses and have the potential to improve farm efficiency and profitability. This event will showcase the opportunities that exist for farmers and demonstrate how they can get involved.”
Energy in Agriculture will be of interest to any farmer considering solar, biomass, and other renewable energy opportunities. The event is an approved Knowledge Transfer Event. Full information is available here!
