Poultry Biosecurity
IFA Poultry Chair Nigel Sweetnam hosted an online webinar on Thursday, 6th November to discuss how the sector is dealing with the recent confirmed cases of Avian Influenza in the Republic of Ireland.
The main speakers for the event were Aonghus Lane, of St Davids Poultry veterinary practitioners, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the critical importance of biosecurity, and Alan Johnson who gave an update on the current Highly Pathogenci Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Ireland and Europe.
