Wheat prices have fallen this week. This drop has been driven by improving weather conditions in key US winter wheat regions, where rain has boosted crop health. 49% of the crop is now rated good or excellent, up from 45% last week. Meanwhile, rapeseed prices rose slightly, with May-25 up €22.75/t and Nov-25 up €5.50/t. Strong planting progress in the US, especially for maize and soyabeans, is also weighing on global grain markets.
