In pictures: Secondary Pig Processors Commit to Price Increases

IFA Pig Committee made the decision this week to take action against a number of secondary processing plants across the country. On Tuesday 10th May, four secondary processors; Carty Meats in Athlone, Oakpark Foods in Cahir, Connolly’s Pork and Bacon in Monaghan, and Pilgrim Food Masters in Shillelagh were the locations of these protests and the result of which were commitments from the secondary processors for price increases.
