Milk price  

• There have been a number of increases on the price of milk in retailers recently with the majority now having a minimum own brand price of €1.05 per litre.  

• The premium for liquid milk is currently of high concern, this premium will need to see a substantially increase on the amount paid over the last number of years to ensure it makes economic sense for farmers to continue producing liquid milk.
