Market Prices

New crop grain prices spiked significantly on Monday May 16th on news of possible export restrictions from India. Paris wheat for Sep 2022 closed at €438/t on Monday.

Markets have cooled in recent days with Paris Sep 22 position dropping back to €418.50 on Friday 20th. Less market fear over Indian restrictions and a very large Russian crop forecast weighed on the market. Rain is also expected in Northern France.

Glanbia offered €345/t for green barley this week and €360/t for green wheat, a rise of €13 and €18/t on the week respectively.

Paris oilseed rape reached €866/t on Monday but prices have dropped to €820/t on news that Germany is phase out food-based biofuels by 2030 and Indonesia is set to resume palm oil exports next week.

FOB Creil rolling average price for Boormalt suppliers now stands at €425.17/t with this week’s price closing at €478/t.
