IFA National Sheep Chairman Sean Dennehy said there is a major increase in demand for lamb at retail level for Easter and this is reflected in processors actively looking for lambs from farmers this week.

IFA National Sheep Chairman Sean Dennehy said demand for lamb in the run up to Easter was strong with factories anxious for stock.

IFA has made a detailed submission to the Government and the EU Commission in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.   The full submission is available here.
